Pixabay addresses the need for free stock photography and images that do not need royalties. The best uses within my organization are for sharing photos, graphics, videos, and illustrations. In the companies I have worked for this has been food related. The other great thing about Pixabay is the minimal restrictions within it.

Pixabay is an excellent resource for free, high-quality imagery for use in these mockups. Additionally, I often create social media posts and other ads for clients with limited budgets who cannot afford to pay top dollar for videos, images, and sound effects; Pixabay is an incredible resource for those clients.
- Separate photos, illustrations, and vectors—Many competitors have these images all lumped together with a limited ability to sort through them, while Pixabay has a robust library of all of these, making it easy to find what you're looking for.
- Free, high-quality images and easy-to-understand licensing rules—Often a new client will have bad image usage habits, freely snagging any image off of google. Pixabay is an excellent resource to give clients a huge range of photos without the fear of getting into copyright trouble.
- Sound effects—Free, good-quality sound effects are surprisingly difficult to find amongst competitors, but Pixabay has them in their lineup as well.
- People search—I'd love to be able to search images based on whether the photo contains people or not.
- Sometimes filtering images by "editor's choice" results in no images being shown.
- The comments on images are not particularly helpful, usually full of people commenting "thank you" — maybe have users submit suggested image tags instead?

Pixabay's free stock photos complement the content we publish on our blog. Each new article can require several images that match the theme and topic, and we turn to Pixabay to source these images. Almost all blogs rely on stock photos at least some of the time, and Pixabay has been our go-to source for a decade.

- Provide downloads in several preset dimensions.
- Filter images by photographer experience (to reduce lower quality results).
- Wider range of images on some themes.
I use Pixabay to populate images on slide decks for internal presentations, company videos, and self-paced e-learning courses. If I do not have a corresponding image to a concept, then Pixabay is where I go to find high-quality images that I am confident can be used both internally and externally.

- The images can often feel "too corporate" or "too on the nose".

It is easy to search for images and videos, you have access to images of different sizes, it does not impose excessive regulations, and it offers the option of adding a filter to your search according to the image, orientation, size, color, and categories, it is not necessary to have a user. Free High-Quality Images with No Confusing Licenses
In my role at a small startup, I used Pixabay to find high-quality royalty-free stock images and video to supplement the material we produced in-house. Our product is short-form video content for professional education, and Pixabay helped us find images, icons, and video to further illustrate and add engagement to our speakers' videos at low cost and without needing extensive or confusing licenses.

I use Pixabay for stock images for content on my web, social media, and presentations. It's easy to use and find, I've found (almost) every concept I've been searching for and I love that the images are not the typical ones that the rest of the world is also using.

Decent database for locating images
I use Pixabay to search for relevant, compelling images to use in design presentations such as posters or digital pdf files. The images found on Pixabay can be used to convey different moods and feelings to achieve the desired effect within presentations whether they be in a digital or printed format. Additionally, I used Pixabay to search for flat icons to use in infographics to visually display research findings or design principles in a graphic format.
- Pixabay makes it easy to filter your search to the format you are looking for, whether that be photos, illustrations, graphics, or something else.
- Pixabay provides many different options of free as well as paid content and makes it clear what falls into which category through the way the website is designed.
- Pixabay includes various tags on each image, expanding search results based on similar keywords.
- I would like to see Pixabay get even more specific with the different categories of media that they offer. For example, within "Illustrations", having subcategories of "Line Illustrations", or "Cartoon Illustrations" so users can get even more exact about what they are looking for.
- It would be helpful if there were a simple way to locate images with transparent backgrounds.
- It could be interesting if Pixabay included sets/groupings of similar images already rounded up for easy use.

Great product and selection of photos
I create content daily for the company, so I am using Pixabay to help add images to what I write on the daily. Since we are not always able to get photos ourselves to use for articles or social media posts, Pixabay is a great alternative for royalty-free images and they have a wide selection to choose from.

Pixabay - A free high quality graphics dump
Pixabay is really an awesome platform for all my image requirement in any content, It also provides me with free high resolution images which is the great part. It is very easy to use and have a great mobile application, great time and money saver. It provides really very convenient way to integrate with Adobe photoshop.

Great All Around Platform
I'm a daily user of Pixabay. It's become my go-to platform for finding and downloading photography and graphics. I haven't had the need to search for videos. I'm pleased with the variety of the content and rarely go to another platform to find what I'm looking for. I've used this site for image solutions for several different types of clients and I'm confident that I'm free to use the image safely.
